So, this is yet another random guy trying to convince you why you should vote for him/her. I mean really, why would you vote for a guy named Mister Brightside (sounds somewhat queer). Well, for those of you who never listened to the radio in 2004/2005, you probably didn't hear of the song called Mister Brightside, by (the best band in the world) The Killers. The song goes on how the process of him getting laid by a chick, but the part after that is really what I'm basing my campaign on. The verse starts, "Jealousy turning saints into the sea". Saints were very devoted people to their religion, and often they would live their lives dying in service to Christianity or dying by those who opposed Christianity. A Saint commiting suicide is a pretty uncommon concept, but jealousy of something or someone could be a very good reason for a saint to do that. However, as a candidate, I can promise complete devotion to the job, without any outside force unwavering by commitment.
The song continues with the line, "Choking on your alibis". For those who don't know the meanign of 'alibi', it means a form of verbal defense or an excuse. All of us have no way to avoid making mistakes, however, it defines who we are as a person how we deal with the aftermath of the mistake. I'm making a promise to not make an alibi by blaming someone else or something for the mistake I committed. I will apologize straight forward and work harder to make up for the mistake that I've committed. Lastly, the song continues saying, "But it's just the price I pay, destiny is calling me. Open up my eager eyes, 'cause I'm Mr. Brightside". Simply put, if people don't see the change they want, they will often go get it themselves. In this eRepublik simulation of the current world, I have an oppurtunity to dip my feet in the water of politics. I hope you consider me as a possible candidate for elections and have fun playing eRepublik. =)
